How would I pop a bag of popcorn on the microwave? - Lemmy.World

I usually buy the Jiffy pop, because I just have an electric stove. I have some bags of microwave popcorn. Can I put them on range and like shake it or something? I don’t have a glass lid to keep popcorn from flying everywhere if I just dump it in a pan.
