xorg drama…..
chat is it woke to use wayland? are we woke
@jacqueline query: would being woke be bad
@multisn8 no it’s pretty cool imo. seems good to care about other people, hold joy and love in your heart, etc
@multisn8
I want to be eeping sometimes tho
@jacqueline
@jacqueline does W in xlibre stand for woke?
@ananas this display server can be used by any gender ! it’s inclusive

@jacqueline cosmic is bringing the Wayland 🔥

https://system76.com/cosmic/

(Okay, I haven't tried it yet, but it looks fucking awesome. and apparently it runs its own wayland compositor like a boss.)

COSMIC

@jacqueline Perhaps Wayland users are just aWAYke? :)
@jacqueline Xwayland, for pan-windowism
@jacqueline If you think about Amiga, Ms. DOS, and AT&T Eunuchs, maybe operating systems have always just been a DEI conspiracy to destroy men.
@jacqueline One day X woke up and then there was Wayland. All RedHat's fault, of course. Putting their DEI in our open source then making everyone use it!
@jacqueline
I'm okay with it being woke, if that deters the right people as they cling to decaying x11 forks
@jacqueline wayland can't be woke. have you ever tried to wake up a screen remotely with a wayland session? impossible. xorg? definitely woke.
