So I've just started reading Stephen Fry's book, Fry's Ties. We have the three autobiographies and we both like Stephen Fry.

He has a huge collection of ties, and he is telling us about some of them and each one is accompanied by an anecdote. As always with Stephen, it is very funny in many parts.

One thing in the book is that he talks about the demise of the tie. If I am going anywhere important, I always wear a suit and tie. When we went to the hotel restaurant last week on holiday, or to the American Bar, that's exactly what I did because that's the kind of place you would do that.
I remember one time when I was attending exhibitions, the company I was working for wanted us to wear T-Shirts. A T-Shirt? I ask you. There was no way on earth I was going to do that. A suit and tie it was going to be. 😀
Anyway, a really great book which I would recommend. It is on Audible, read by the author. I'll go back to it now.

@brian_hartgen Awww I bet you were most handsome on all occasions mentioned. I smile to read this.
@robini71 Well I don't know about that, but I appreciate the thought.
@brian_hartgen @robini71 Yes you were, yes he was, robin. He looks gorgeous in a suit and tie.
