OK extreme hot take, but Stage Manager on iPadOS 26 is…actually better than the new windowing mode?? It gets the same freeform resizing, traffic-light controls, and all the new tiling features — and it even supports more than 4 windows now!

It’s basically the iPad version of macOS’ spaces and I love it

@rileytestut I agree, the windowed mode is a bit frustrating in its current form as you basically have to launch apps one by one to get your “state” back. It also doesn’t have the swiping between apps gesture for some reason.

@lnlyssg @rileytestut I agree but the swiping gesture missing is actually a known limitation as per Apple's release notes for b1
