The history of Nazis holding rallies in left-wing areas of Weimar Germany, instigating street fights, and then telling the press that only they could save Germany from the "violent communists" seems like an important thing for people to be studying right now.

World War II never really ended for trans people.

Grandad spent ten years with a Hawker Hurricane strapped to his arse turning bullets into live civilians to prevent exactly what has been happening for the last eighty years, and with particular intensity these last ten.

On 6 May 1933, the Institute of Sexology, an academic foundation devoted to sexological research and the advocacy of homosexual rights, was broken into and occupied by Nazi-supporting youth. Several days later the entire contents of the library were removed and burned.
