His name is Simon Kjaer. He is an international Danish footballer and Milan player.
He is not a global star, he does not have gold shoes and huge personal following, nor is he one of the most expensive players in the world.
But `he went into the history of the sport, as a modern super hero. First he saved his teammate, Chris Eriksen, who fell unconscious on the field, giving him first aid in critical first seconds..
He then asked his teammates to form a ′′ shield ′′ of protection around his fallen co-worker to protect him from flash cameras and shocking highlights trending across social media.
As a captain and friend he took the time to go to the stand and give courage to the wife of the unfortunate Eriksen, who was shocked to see the husband and father of her two children, fighting for his life, As captured in the photo below.
Dear parent, starting today, don't pray for your son or daughter to be a young Messi or Ronaldo. Please become a Simon Kjaer !
@MarkHoltom
He's definitely a hero.

@MarkHoltom

This guy anytime over f*ing Messi or Ronaldo.

Imagine Trump in that situation. He'd just say Eriksen was a looser just to seek media attention.

@MarkHoltom Huh? That was four years ago....
@MarkHoltom this story happened in 2021, why would you post it this way?
@piuland @MarkHoltom because it is still fucking right and relevant today
@young_ullrich @MarkHoltom is it his birthday or something? It’s written as if he had just passed. If you write to me in that tone again I will block you btw.

@piuland If turns out that the events happened almost exactly 4 years ago.

But writing it as it was a recent event is just bad style and some pleasant tear jerking.

To all of the nit-picking pedants who scour social media posts for slight inconsistencies and errors and who love to correct a point, even though it has absolutely nothing to do with the sentiment of the post.

Now look at the post, and your response, and ask yourself, "did my post add any value whatsoever? Did it change the sentiment?"

This is social media, and in this case, a feel-good fluff piece, published on the anniversary of it happening. But if you approach this like my ex-wife's solicitors, looking for mistakes you can swoop on with your own opinions, then can I respectfully suggest that you simply block me. I am far too human and make far too many mistakes for the likes of you, and my postings will only irritate you.

@MarkHoltom @kontrollierterWahnwitz @piuland @young_ullrich @ivorytusk

Scoring social media points by asking for attention by copy/pasting a tweet from 4 years ago? Cool story brah

@Illdisposed @MarkHoltom @kontrollierterWahnwitz @piuland @young_ullrich @ivorytusk
How about those of us, like me, who are not football fans and didn't know about this before? And who think 'what a kind and good way to respond in a crisis?'

Thank you @MarkHoltom for sharing, even if it isn't 'news' to everyone

@MarkHoltom @kontrollierterWahnwitz @piuland @young_ullrich @ivorytusk

Something happened 2500 million years ago.

Your post:
TODAY A mammal saved a reptile from total annihilation.

Those pointing out time space continuum discrepancies are to be blame for not enjoying my clout attention.

@Illdisposed @kontrollierterWahnwitz @piuland @young_ullrich @ivorytusk

As I said:
Now look at the post, and your response, and ask yourself, "did my post add any value whatsoever? Did it change the sentiment?"

But in your case, it seems the sentiment is that you have a voice and you want it heard. Regardless of the significance or value

Grow up - but not on my timeline.

The world has many problems, but your whining is not one of them.

Blocked.

"But if you approach this like my ex-wife's solicitors..." No further questions, dude

@MarkHoltom

Today??????!!??

It happened 4 years ago. Nice message but let’s be factual about the events

@MarkHoltom @lisamelton Amen to that, we all watched those horrific images during a game of football 🙏
@MarkHoltom thanks, i've never heard of that story. Maby add a "This happend in July 2021" or something to the end of your post.
