@thermia Also something interesting, English word 'gift' Swedish word for married and German word for poison have same or similar etymology and all 3 are 'gift'

@introvertcatto yeah! gift is both "poison" and "married" in swedish! ^^ it's interesting

swedish also has the words "kör" and "kör", one means "drive" and the other means "choir" and have the exact same spellings (albeit different pronounciations)

German has "umfahren" and "umfahren"
One means "to drive around something" and the other is "to run something over".
So, same spelling, opposite meaning and slightly different pronunciation

@glitch @thermia interesting in Croatian there is term umfal (not standard but some people use) and it means to have car incident or to run something over. Possibly connected since Croatia was under Austrian rule (Austro-Hungary) or at least my mom was only person who used it idk
