@eunews This news item is wildly exaggerated. This is a pilot project involving about 40 people from the ministry. It's a start but Denmark is not (yet) set to replace Microsoft. Far from it, unfortunately.

@eunews the sooner the better. I started in high school and took me less than 2 years to completely feel at ease deleting the Windows Vista partition. Nonlibre software is the enemy of sovereignty (and therefore of democracy), of education and of science.

Not to mention that licenses and subscriptions probably account for something north if 15% of "the economy" of the United States. That money is better spent on true knowledge provided by more likable businesses and organizations.
