The face of Corona, Olga de Souza, wasn’t the original voice behind the 1993 hit. The vocals belonged to Italian singer Jenny B!

In the '90s Eurodance scene, it was common to separate the voice and the image—think Milli Vanilli vibes.

Olga later took over the mic, performing live with her own voice and charisma. Today, she IS Corona—voice, presence, and all.

@theurbanherald Another secret is how much the song borrows from 1987 track "Save Me" by Say When:

"The Rhythm of the Night" borrows heavily from this track, namely the music and specifically the lyrics "Round and round we go, each time I hear you say", along with other similar lyrics shared by the two songs. As a result, the writers of "Save Me" received writing credits on "The Rhythm of the Night".
