#SOTA summits № 625-626/1000 today: Tschipparällehore 2398 m (https://sotl.as/summits/HB/BE-129) and Honiese 2454 m (https://sotl.as/summits/HB/BE-082) via the infamous Niesengrat ridge, with two or three spicy sections. It was hot today, felt like July or August already! And lots of Canadian wildfire smoke in the air. 66 QSOs made on 40/30/20/2m.

@ajh Slightly hazy views are an extremely minor inconvenience compared to what it means for those directly affected by the fires 😳

I find the fact that we can see it as “clear“ as day here, thousands of kilometers away, a stark reminder that we live in a small world – even more so than a transatlantic QRP QSO...
