Tahoe flips the colors in the Finder icon, which has the darker color on the left FOREVER and they gotta roll this change back.

@ismh86 It has traditionally been that way due to one of the most important tenets of good visual design: it guides the eye. Darker contrasting colors leading the left-to-right scanning of the image is how all kinds of logos and icons are designed bc of how eyes and brains see stuff! Putting the all-but-transparent “white” side on the left breaks the visual cortex’s expected “hook” to even see the damn thing.

I’m annoyed at this because it’s so *stupid* of a design mistake.
