jgeorge@hannahpatellis It SUCKS. Old Dropbox you could point to another disk volume, or a network volume. The new API puts your Dropbox under ~/Dropbox and consumes home directory and boot drive space for all the offline-accessible files. Dropbox now routinely files up my boot drive when I archive stuff from some other source. I hate it with the firey burning passion of a million white hot suns.
@jgeorge Thank you for this! Based on this and everything else I’ve read it sounds like they’re gonna have to force me into File Provider kicking and screaming lol I’ll happily go without until then!
