01042023 / DAY -552 (SLOWLY APPROACHING)

π“Šπ“‹Ό NOTE TO SELF π“Šπ“‹Ό

PRIORITIES:

Close friends.

Family. Nieces.

Nature. More walking. More presence. More travelling. More slowness. More seasons, rituals. More body. Sauna. Fresh air and mountains. Views. Sea. Following the sun and stars.

Words – reading/writing/getting others to read… Close relationships and work/testimony.

Visual aesthetics – but living more in the present and observing more with your eyes than with the camera lens.

Singing and playing and listening – more live music. Experiences with people. Chill partying and depth and good environments.

A podcast (maybe) about academic approaches + reworking your professional sense of capability + normalizing the long road to and between paid jobs. By conversations with cool, nice and (way too) humble people, sharing and showing up.

To try something new. Climbing, playing, seeing. Creative techniques.

Aesthetic expression. To be art in your expression and way of being in the world. Make people stop in their tracks a little bit. Cultivate beauty, including your own.
Be a little more body and a little less mind. Dress up, play around. Be your own favorite version. Unapologetically.

PAID JOB CONSIDERATIONS:

It's a kind of relief not to be your own boss and having to set the framework for what you will be making money from. There will always be administration/advertising/a need to be outspoken and assertive of your own worth as a freelancer. You don't want that. You need to be invited to share and that's okay. Do your thing and maybe someone will invite you. Otherwise, it doesn't matter.
Maybe you'll find something more meaningful someday (more aligned with your beliefs and/or more analytical), but for now the framework itself is good. Think about what you want to put into it and discuss it with your bosses.
You can resign if you continue to feel exploited and demotivated. Something else will probably come up if the world needs your labor.
