You’d need to pay me good money to shoot full power .357 Magnum rounds through a scandium alloy framed 2” barrel revolver, even if it does hold 8 shots. Being an N-frame, it’s a bit of a beast, size-wise, but it would make much more sense if Smith & Wesson offered the 327 with a 9x19 mm cylinder. The 327 is only 23.2 oz (658 g) empty, so with subsonic 147 gr 9x19 mm rounds, it would be more easily controllable. S&W already makes the cylinder, sold in the Jerry Miculek #revolvers. #rtkba
Both of these are 9x19 mm, 8-shot, N-frame revolvers, so S&W already has the parts. Other manufacturers offer interchangeable 9x19mm cylinders for their .357 Magnum revolvers.
