Are there any good FOSS ereaders out there?

I like reading print on paper. And there are just some books at my library that are only available electronically. So, I'm humoring the thought of a device like a kindle. I think I have a really old Kindle. But I doubt I have a charger for it. If it works still.

I'm looking at a kobo reader. Libra Colour vs Elipsa 2. I can't decide between having buttons, waterproof but a smaller screen over a larger screen and no buttons. There's a pretty sizable price difference, but I'm not weighing that too heavily. That being said, the cheaper option is winning but only ever so slightly.

Any #koboreader enthusiasts out there with some Sage wisdom? (Pun intended)

@wyatt I've been very happy with my Libra Colour so far - much snappier in use than my old Kindle, and colour is great (the colour is a bit washed out compared to LCD of course).

I find it a nice size of ebooks, and for reading magazine PDFs I can turn it landscape and it automatically expands the PDF to fit widthwise, so only about half the page is shown at a time on screen.

The Elipsa 2 looks nice, but I think it would be too bulky for my needs. Guess it depends what you are reading though!

@teapot_ben
So I just ordered the Kobo Colour and from Kobo instead of another vendor on Amazon. The price was cheaper while still keeping some of the credit card rewards. The downside will be the shipping. Both were free shipping, but the timing will be different. I'm not going to be note-taking with it, really, so I went with the smaller/cheaper option.
@wyatt hope it turns up fairly quickly, and you like it!
