And in spite of massive amount of money, Microsoft Teams is still the biggest heap of junk I'm required to use by my employer.

I have resorted to using @signalapp for communication with the team...

@Ruth_Mottram @signalapp I don’t have any major complaints about Teams and we’ve been using it for 5 years. What don’t you like about it?

@snick8484 The main problems seem to come when we need to use cross OS interfaces, specifically linux and iOS (on mobile phones) for team calls.

Then there is the mystery of the ever vanishing papers in our onedrive?
TBH, I also HATE the interface.
It manages to be simultaneously infantilising (because so much is cloud based and essentially a black box) and excessively confusing to navigate in.

And it costs a FORTUNE.
Which I personally think would be better spent on nurturing homegrown technology.

@Ruth_Mottram I have not tried to use it on Linux. I’ve had success joining teams calls with 30+ participants from iOS though, but I do audio only usually.
