Hello Mastodon, it's been a while. For anyone unaware #NOAA18 will be powered off later today. An S-band link has suffered an anomaly and it's missing an instrument anyway. But still, a step closer to less amateur Wx sat reception (until someone makes X-band more accessible).

@g0fcu no worries. A lot of folk have set up their stations and left them, maybe don't keep up with the news in the industry in much detail.
