@nuxttux made a very cool video showing off some highlights of the 25.04 release. Check it out!

Kdenlive 25 - Video Editor

YouTube
@kdenlive @nuxttux hi! I have found that I cannot change speed of few selected cuts in time line at once (for example select 4 parts, right click, change speed), which is quite annoy and time waste to select and change speed one by one of them. Thank you
@iuvi You could select them, create a sequence (Kdenlive puts it right were the clips were), and then change the speed of the sequence ...

@kdenlive @kde
Great video!

Makes me remember those videos #KDE used to make for KDE Gear updates. Those were so cool and I miss them so much
(just noticed @niccolove helped on those, so thanks for those!)

@kdenlive @nuxttux @kde please fix the blur and green screen. These tools need improvement.
@tasinone @kdenlive What needs improvement or fixing? Can you be a bit more specific?

@berndmj @kdenlive It's not as perfect as Filmora Editor's chroma key and blur. Even after twicking you can see green background. And they also need to work on the blur. Filmora's Blur and Chroma key very perfect. Even CapCut's chroma key perfect too.

Here you can see the details I am talking about.

Please Improve the Chroma Key Effect and Make It Perfect

Hi, I am using the latest version of Kdenlive on Windows 10. I used to use Filmora 9 before. Kdenlive is working better for me although there are some things I have to do manually which costs time but it’s fine. I love Kdenlive. But there is a problem with Kdenlive, its Chroma Key is not working perfectly. As you can see the Filmora Chroma Key is perfect. There is no sign of Green and I haven’t done anything. I just picked the color. At the same time, Kdenlive Chroma is not perfect. Even tho th...

@kdenlive @nuxttux Amazing stuff!
@arturo2bodegas @kdenlive @nuxttux it would be so great to be able to follow you on #peertube any luck with #tilvids ? It think you mentioned you tried but were having issues.
@kdenlive @nuxttux @kde so we get AI before a proper key frame editor 🤔
@chengdulittlea @kdenlive @nuxttux @kde If you want something to happen faster you can help make it so...
@chengdulittlea @kdenlive @nuxttux @kde AI here isn't **that** AI. It's the type of AI that has been around for few decades and been useful for all sort of things. After Effects and Premier had this type of tracking since forever. Unfortunately the current trend of LLMs has kind of tarnished the term AI.
@whjjackwhite I know - One alternative would have been to call it "smart algorithm", but that wordy, just like LLM I suppose. AI is much more catchy - until the uprising, jk.
@whjjackwhite I know... I'm probably just complaining about qt UIs that are weird to use 😅

It would be great if such videos could also be cross-posted on #PeerTube

It’s obvious that #YouTube is becoming increasingly more unusable without a premium subscription, which not all of us can afford, never mind the increasingly hostile attitude of the platform towards its creators #enshitification

Also, videos about video editing using #opensource software, announced on a #federated network, really (also) belong on the #Fediverse
