I'm wondering, is there any step to follow to get the Apple TV mirroring to work? I’ve never been able to get it to connect with Bezel for some reason

Apple TV mirroring should just work if your Mac is on the same network as the Apple TV. I've seen some issues if the Apple TV is on WiFi and the Mac has an ethernet cable attached or vice versa. But it should "just work".

Is the Apple TV not showing up at all in the list? Or is the connection failing after you select it in Bezel?

@mathijskadijk My Mac is connected via Ethernet indeed, so it might be that?

@nileane that could be the problem indeed, not sure if you're able to give it a try if you switch your Mac to the same WiFi as the Apple TV, would be interesting to see if that makes it appear.

Thanks for trying anyway! Could you collect a log, selecting Help > Gather logs from the menu up top and mail those to us at [email protected]?

That would be helpful to investigate if the Apple TV isn't seen at all or there is some other error.

@mathijskadijk how does my Bezel license work? I was trying to use the latest update after doing a fresh OS install and I couldn't activate because "incorrect or already in use" — do I need a new license for this update, or is the license a one time use and I have to buy another one? 🤔

@svenni Your current license is valid for Bezel 3.0 also, it's a free upgrade. Your license is probably activated already, if you shoot us an email with the license key we can help you out. You can reach us at [email protected]
