When people ask me about generative AI, I like to start with "So what do you know about slime molds?"

Not much? Well, let me tell you about that dog vomit that shows-up on your mulch and wanders slowly around...

Don't worry, we'll get to LLM's, just give me a few minutes.

@electrojcr .... I want to hear this fleshed out.

@adr I work with people who are accustomed to 'knowing' the answers and AI marketing is so saturating in legal tech... I usually need to stop and reframe and speak generally about intelligence and what we mean to address expectations:

Slime molds are novel, but ordinary, and applicable to that discussion without getting too philosophical, geeking out on cognition, or talking about the mechanics.

@adr I also know some guy from SERVICE Y in tech sales isn't talking about slime molds. Instead they're shouting about "ZERO HALLUCINATIONS" and "TOTALLY SAFE AND SECURE AGENTIC WORKFLOWS."
