imikotoba 🏴❤️🇯🇵Like last year, I have ferreted out the cache of spare light bulbs (do they really still sell incandescent bulbs in Japan?), and replaced the blown bulbs around the rented house. Only two this year, was about twice that last year. A minor hassle but far less than it would be via the letting agent 😉💡
I’ve also canibalised the DVD remote’s batteries so that we can actually turn on the TV, and left the empties with the dead bulbs as a non-verbal hint for maintenance 🪫
Also, like any Brit would, the promised kettle in the rental specification has been found & and used for a cuppa. It was boxed on the top shelf of a kitchen cupboard - that narrows down who the previous tenants were, right? #BritsAbroad
