My commodore 1702 is getting closer to being usable again. Well, reflowed every solder joint on the back of the tube, and the weird artifacting is gone, but its still insanely blurry and flickering very lightly. At thjs point im thinking maybe just a picture and focus knob adjustment will get it the rest of the way.

Not perfect, but a hell of a lot better. The focus knob is now all the way to the right. Hope that isnt like CD laser focus pots where you burn up the laser doing that.

Probably going to reflow the entire mainboard at some point. I feel like the focus circuit isn't getting enough power. I already recapped the thing last year and it didn't really help. Unless someone knows where I should look specifically.
