๐Ÿ’ญ When the Heart Feels Heavy
Written by Nilda Everly
Some days, the heart simply feels heavier not because of a specific reason, but because itโ€™s been holding too much for too long. ๐ŸŒซ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ญ The world goes on as usual, the sky still shines โ˜€๏ธ, the wind still moves ๐Ÿƒ, but insideโ€ฆ something is quieter. Something pulls back.
Itโ€™s not always sadness ๐Ÿ˜”
Sometimes itโ€™s just stillness a kind of emotional fog ๐ŸŒซ๏ธ where nothingโ€™s wrong, but nothing feels quite right either. And in that fog, I find myself drifting a little deeper into my own thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญ๐ŸŒ™.
Iโ€™ve learned to stop apologizing for these moments ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ. I no longer feel the need to explain why Iโ€™m quieter, softer, distant ๐Ÿ˜ถโ€๐ŸŒซ๏ธ. These are the spaces where I return to myself where I breathe without performance ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ, where I feel without editing ๐Ÿฉฐ.
Some parts of healing donโ€™t look like rising ๐ŸŒฑ. They look like resting ๐Ÿ›๏ธ. Some parts of strength donโ€™t feel like power ๐Ÿ’ช they feel like softness, silence, and slowing down ๐Ÿ’–โ˜๏ธ.
And thatโ€™s okay. ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ’ซ
So today, Iโ€™m not smiling for show ๐Ÿ™‚. Iโ€™m not shining for approval โœจ.
Iโ€™m simply here feeling whatโ€™s real ๐Ÿ’ญ, honoring what hurts ๐Ÿ’”, and letting myself be a little undone ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ. Because even in the unraveling, I am still becoming. ๐ŸŒธ
