The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (ugh 😖) contains some key provisions that benefit the AI industry.

The first is a moratorium on state-level regulation of AI such as banning deepfakes in political ads.

There is also increased military spending for creating autonomous weapons. Skynet is pleased.

The budget bill advanced by House Republicans bans states from regulating AI while pumping billions into autonomous weapons.
