@Pepper If the kids can buy candy in the vending machine, they will be less likely to take the free candy from the religious proselytizers.

I was just feeling sorry for kids who can’t have some candy once in awhile and also I haven’t had whole milk in 30 years and I’m fine.

@Pepper @mls14 when I was a kid in Indianapolis, elementary schools were not allowed to teach religion so they’d walked us to a neighboring house once in awhile for Bible study. Most of my friends and I just considered it a break from school with snacks. Indiana has always been a conservative state. It used to be the home of the leader of the KKK
