@jeffjarvis hmm,... google search is a beast. Only Microsofts Bing is near that. It's just these massively huge, distributed, highly optimized data centres.

Google decided more than 20 years ago to become an advertising agency.
And it is. The tech department: search, AI, Ardroid, youtube,... its just to fuel the ad business. Its costumer lock in, sucking their data like a vampire. And then use this data to bring people to buy things they don't need from money they don't have.

Google is the largest advertisement machine in the world and yes, we need to talk if its ok to let em become even bigger and more powerful in manipulating the mind of the ordinary masses.

With Meta copying Googles ad company concept and Amazon being different but also harmful.
