Tempted to watch the latest and allegedly last Mission: Impossible flick theatrically but after five years of virtually no theater-going I genuinely don't know if I have the stamina for 3+ hours without a pause button anymore. Maybe I need to train back up, like an endurance runner.

I have seen exactly four films in theaters since 2020:

1. Spider-Man: No Way Home
2. Everything Everywhere All at Once
3. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
4. John Wick 4

(I did not like any of those movies, even setting aside the whole "pretty sure my Spider-Man screening gave me COVID" thing.)

LMAO four hours after I bought an aisle-seat ticket for Mission: Impossible on the assumption that it would fill up, only one other seat appears to be taken. Granted I intentionally chose a late Thursday, non-IMAX screening, but still....
Not shocked given how much I disliked the last entry, but for me Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning is the worst movie in the series and it isn't particularly close.
