hey #Thunderbird team, this is great!
@slink @Tutanota this would be a nice feature to add :P
@triskelion @slink Thanks for sharing. We will have a look ;)

@slink
I dont like those "safelinks" filters that much.

Not only am I sending Microsoft every linking click on. But I also have hardly any clue what I am clicking on.

Technically you can see it but you have to decypher it from the longer unreadable mess

#safelinks #microsoftsucks

@TagHunt @slink not to mention when the filter site is slow to load, but not the actual link destination.
@TagHunt Or when you're using an ad-blocker like PiHole and the "safe" link doesn't work
@slink We love that this helps you! We also love any reason to post this image:
@thunderbird @slink We need this on Thunderbird for Android. So sick of having to go to NPR's tracking link to view articles from their email
@Starcross Oooooh. You can also suggest this on Mozilla Connect (https://connect.mozilla.org) if it hasn't been made already!

@thunderbird did you evaluate if the idea could work in firefox, too? it would seem to be pretty useful, but could also be annoying…
@slink That actually would be a great suggestion for Mozilla Connect (https://connect.mozilla.org) since that also houses suggestions for Firefox, if it's not there already!

@slink oh hey is this a new feature? this is pretty rad
@slink I saw that today by accident (usually I use text-mode but some mails are HTML only 🙄 ) and i think that's awesome, too.
Especially that you can decide yourself to use the tracking-link or the normal one
