I accidentally started another #AlbumParty - Skunk Anansie. Starting with "Paranoid & Sunburnt" (1995).

I've been seeing a lot of references to them recently but had never (AFAIK) heard them before.

My bad! So far, I'm LOVING them. So much energy, feeling, and V-flicking attitude!

I am really digging the song "Weak". Powerful lyrics, including "Weak as I am, am I too much for you?".

Oof. I feel that.

On to the next album, "Stoosh" (1996).

One year later but with a new drummer. Starts with a song that is both sadly accurate and appropriately furious "Yes It's Fucking Political".

Now onto "Post Orgasmic Chill" (1999). According to Wikipedia, it has two album covers - one for the USA and one for everyone else.

Also, according to the wiki, they moved from punk and alt rock sounds into more metal and hard rock sounds.

I really like punk music, but a clear benefit of punk music for these #AlbumParty threads is that I can finish a punk band or punk artist's discography is a day or even half a day.
That said, my brain is pretty cooked form work today so I might leave the remaining albums for tomorrow.
