@MrLovenstein A common cause for this is when an originally surround audio track is downmixed to stereo. If your playback device has an option to increase the volume for "downmix: center mix level", that might do wonders. It increases volume for front center before downmixing, because that's where dialogue is, as opposed to side / back which have effects.
If downmix is being done at the source, you're out of luck though.
