Did you know the AI bubble ‧already‧ burst?

If instead of looking at big FOMO stock like Microsoft, where it's totally unclear how much of their (price) performance actually has anything to do with AI, you look at indices that actually try to cover the AI ‧sector‧, both more narrowly in terms of thematic focus and more broadly in terms of coverage of companies, such as the Indxx Global Robotics & AI Thematic Index, the Nasdaq CTA AI & Robotics, or the NYSE FactSet Global Robotics & AI (which I'm sure overlap significantly in their holdings), you see that they've been extremely lackluster for a while now and are well below their peak from several years ago…

@bifouba The only hope we have is everyone realizes it’s not worth putting AI in everything

@bifouba

Nice. I'm looking forward to a corporate culling, where the dumbest CEOs who dove deepest into the AI con are unable to extract themselves.

The AI con is probably going to cost/waste more corporate money than anything in history.

@bifouba Looking at any tech stock these days it's likely that much of the price is supported by speculation and the PE ratio is so high its hard to see how these prices are remotely justified. There's too much money still chasing too few opportunities even with the present interest rates.
