As I keep writing:

There are reasons the last few conferences I have called in to have been hybrid with the in-person components in Japan, South Africa, and Spain.

And why future ones will be hybrid with in-person components in Finland and Canada.

@toyotabedzrock a lot of the engineering sector ones are choosing European cities too (although this was often the case before anyway)

Frankfurt and Amsterdam seem to be popular choices at the moment

@toyotabedzrock Canada here and I know many people have made it blindingly clear they will not be visiting. First, the destruction of democracy is not something we want to support with our money. Second, we have no wish to go to El Salvador because some border agent has had a bad day
