Life checkpoint

Sometimes you figure out something about yourself many years later. Back in middle school I played racing games and GTA. I didn't care much about movies or books

Today my most beloved games are The Outer Wilds, Disco Elysium and The Beginners Guide
I still play ETS2, Forza, GTA and love Snowrunner. But they are different

And I think it was because 10 years ago I tried Beginners Guide. I didn't understand it fully, lots of plot points went past me. But its stuck regardless. Deep under my skin it changed me as a person. Without it me wouldn't be me. Everything I like today is thanks to this less than 2 hours game

It didn't resonate with me. I didn't have a relationship like the one in the story. I didnt struggle creatively. It's not a game for me

But it's a my game now. Without it me wouldn't be me
Thanks, Davey

@alex_f_k genshin is art. nobody can tell me otherwise after swimming in Fontaine and just admiring the calmness and beauty. Don't even have to attack. Also, the amount of lore is insane especially with how deep it goes. ;-;
