Walked from Balloch to Helensburgh today, and it was glorious. I almost didn’t bother, as first I accidentally slept in, then I was worried (this shows that I’m basically a fully naturalised Scot now) “hm, maybe 23 degrees is too hot for exercise outdoors” 😂. But I’m so very glad I went. I saw a thousand orange tip butterflies, and a very funky caterpillar crossed my path, and I heard the cuckoo call! And the views across both Loch Lomond and the Clyde were fantastic.
@kittyc It's a beautiful walk, one of my favourites. These days, I usually start from Cardross instead of Balloch, and walk to Craigendoran instead of Helensburgh, but I like all variants.
“hm, maybe 23 degrees is too hot for exercise outdoors” 😂. I do that too!
