These AI agents are really good at producing massive amounts of boilerplate quickly.

Once you start using them on a project, you are bound to continue using the same tools, as the forest gets hidden behind all the trees. And manual intervention becomes quite impractical.

I'm glad to know our AI overlords will have good job security.

@TTimo felt the same way when using WYSIWYG web editors when I was creating websites back in the day. Eventually I got frustrated, and reverted to notepad :)

@mlabowicz there's something to be said for writing the most minimalist, to the point solution to a problem.

But this sort of crafted software may be on it's way out in the general software development world. We'll be lucky if we get to do that as a hobby.
