No AI regulation for 10 years means no regulation of billionaires owning those trained-on-our-hard-work-models and all the fruits of this maybe coming in form of stock prices skyrocketing and people getting fired.
You would assume that villains operate in the dark, not transparently in the open. - Only in the case, they really don't fear any scrutiny any more because stupid voters will be distracted by pink flags or whatever.
