China knows the fossil fuel industry owns America and America's Republican billionaires want a war.

Getting their fossil fuel overlords off their necks gives them options.

If only democracy also saw the winds of war from fossil fuel interests.

What is weird is how pro-Israel billionaire donors like Adelson & Yass don't recognize Trump's betrayal as such.

How AI is Redefining Middle Eastern Warfare

As war rages on in the Gaza Strip, its visual narrative is shaped by scenes of tanks and rubble familiar to the public since the global war on terror. Yet a closer inspection reveals a futuristic battlespace, as much defined by algorithms and robotics as by gunfighting and air strikes. The IDF’s miniature Firefly “suicide” […]

@arstechnica Uh oh, now how are climate FUD-ders going to say "BUT WHAT ABOUT CHINA?!"
@arstechnica yeah yeah sure. Painting the grass green helped this time.

@arstechnica

They also doubled their coal production since 2007. I really do not trust any data coming out of China, their government is too pre-occupied with saving face as the highest priority, even if it means fabricating emissions dara whole cloth.

@arstechnica

Roofs! Put in roofs, build roofs on canals.

@arstechnica At least one country is exhibiting intelligence on a relevant front enough to do something right.
I wish they made something that would instill a sense of responsibility, morailty and ownership in the "administration" of the US today. I'm blinking tired of rich people killing everyone to make a buck.
@arstechnica There goes the, "It isn't worth reducing our emissions because China won't" excuse.
@arstechnica solar panel in trees out… its an improvement but feels like we are getting rid of something that we also need…

@arstechnica my second thought on seeing that picture was: rivers are difficult enough to navigate, this pretty much eliminates any chance of #sailing that river 😥

Not an actual complaint about #solar farming, just a gut reaction from someone who likes to sail.

@arstechnica
Being on site right now, the move to solar and to electric vehicles are trends that are clearly visible everywhere.

On the streets, the estimate is 50% electric for personal vehicle (much higher in the 70% order for public and utility transports). My best guess last year was 30% (and 50%)
