Is the clue in the shape of the front lights, or the typography of the badging, or... ?
@jbm sure thing! It’s totally the shape of that corner plastic thing covering the turn signal.
I had a ‘71 Chevelle (not an El Camino though) and I still have a ‘66 Malibu. Need to get rid of that car. I’ve always for some reason had a thing for Chevys of the 50s, 60s and 70s and been able to figure out model year by grills, tail lights and whatnot.
