Opened up #DragonQuestBuilders 2 this afternoon and ended up playing for maybe six hours. I wish Square Enix would announce a third one. 😭😭😭

@Moosader I'm a huge dragon quest fan in the first place but man are the dragon quest spinoffs always good, builders and builders 2 are just such creative games, I loved every minute of them. I wish there were more games that played like that, w/ the building and defending (and exploring areas from old dq games)

If you want another good spinoff play dq: treasures, basically just release your inner loot goblin for that one, not a difficult or long game but great.

@raptor85 That's really cute!!! I've never actually played through a mainline Dragon Quest game either, but they do make quality spinoffs. Dragon Quest Rocket Slime on DS was also freaking neat.

@Moosader I'm a huge fan of...well basically the entire series but 1-4 have a special place in my heart, the recent remake of 3 was phenomenal and 11 was a masterpiece. I'm eagerly awaiting the 1+2 remake this year. I played the hell out of 1-2 as a kid and it struck the right nostalgia points in DQ builders 2 to see characters and locations revisited from them.

The DQ: Monsters games are also fantasitc, if you've never tried them they're DQ pokemon and the series started same year as pokemon.

@Moosader I've always kinda found it funny too that gamefreak is so sue happy yet their original games had a HUGE amount of content ripping off enix, half of the original roster are basically just traced over dragon quest stuff, lol.
