Someone signed me up for emails from a "Horror Game News" Wordpress blog. The unsubscribe link forces a login.

I don't have an account. Had to sign up to Wordpress just to remove the subscription.

Forced logins to unsubscribe should not be a thing. Gross.

@gamingonlinux I thought email confirmations were pretty much standard since oh I don't know the 2000s. I guess this is why it's still easy to flood people's inboxes with spam

@gamingonlinux email address verification at sign up should always be mandatory. Would have limited you to one email. Also would have saved the idiots who used my address for Walmart, Tractor Supply Company, AdultFriendFinder, and INTUIT, the tax software giant.
