Each time when I hear Tasmin Archer's Sleeping Satellite on the radio these days, I think of #GenAI. So, this had to happen, I guess. 🤷♀️ Remarkably little of the text has to be changed!
Suggestions for improvement are welcome. Also, I would be surprised if I'm the first to try this, so do tell me if you saw similar/better attempts!
Did a similar thing with a French quote about the freedom of science. This is from a 1909 speech by philosopher of science Henri Poincaré, which he delivered at a Belgian university. The original doesn't really need an update: it should be enough to resist the mindless submission of #academia to #BigTech and #GenAI. So, consider this one "for the kids in the back".
