For example, the forced gestation movement has absolutely nothing to do with "protecting innocent lives". Likewise, their objection to trans people changing their names has nothing to do with the difficulties of remembering that someone has a new name.
@georgetakei A society in which women are treated as second-class humans *requires* a hard and fast delineation of genders. The "logic" of why women should not be treated as fully human breaks down in the face of the reality that gender exists on a spectrum. Chrisofascists object to the existence of transgender people because the fact that gender is not completely biologically predetermined undermines their control.
