what they’re talking about is closeted trans people and eggs seeing us out and joyous trans people and knowing they can do it too

@tillybridges I was in a Zoom munch yesterday. Originally for cross-dressing men, it now has a high percentage of trans women. It's become a safe place for eggs to crack.

Cis woman here... I've been a tomboy all my life. I'm definitely not feminine in any way. I know a ton of transfolk, including two of my nieces. If being trans was a social contagion, I would be the first to go trans.

But I'm not.

Because... I'm not.

I wish people could see how freaking simple it really is. You don't "become" trans because you are introduced to the concept. You either are or aren't. The concept just allows you to be yourself.
