Aiden GardinerJust finished reading the Leasey Sports and Games documentation. If I wasn't looking forward to it before I definitely am now. There's a championship playoff game I'm particularly interested in happening the day after the release which I'll be testing monitoring on even though I'll be listening to it. That'll give me a good feel for the delay between the radio broadcast and Leasey.
@aiden_gardiner I think you will be very pleased with the response, especially if the timer is set to 30 seconds.
@brian_hartgen I don't doubt it. Am I right in thinking that the ability to grab league tables isn't there yet? It wasn't in the docs but I wasn't sure if I'd just missed it somewhere.
@aiden_gardiner No that is not there as yet. It shouldn't be that difficult. Actually what I did have at one point was, you could enter a team, and it would tell you where that team was in relation to the table as a whole. But that didn't work quite as well with other sports. The problem is that with many API's, baseball is really, really weak, and some of the results returned are just plain wrong. Our football provides by far the best access all round.
@brian_hartgen well Football's the most popular sport on the planet so that doesn't surprise me. Shame that didn't work because it would've been handy. If you really wanted to go crazy with it you could potentially have permutations calculated as well, especially useful near the end of the season. By permutations I mean things such as, Sunderland can only stay up if Brenford drop points such as a draw or loss, or Millwall can only reach the playoffs if they beat Burnley and Coventry lose.

@brian_hartgen it would be, although that's more of a nice to have than anything. If you've ever listened to sports shows close to crucial parts of the season you'll realize that there's hardly any chance of not knowing what they are because the presenters seem to bang on about them every chance they get.
@aiden_gardiner It is definitely a good tool. Too bad it's Jaws exclusive though or else I would have probably bought it. I'm covered when it comes to monitoring football results but the overall the tool is really good
@quanchi it definitely seems so. Being able to get tables is missing for now but it's coming in a future version. I also like the idea of nearly real time monitoring.
