#tariffs

@adafruit does anyone understand how this figure is calculated? I am admittedly bad at math, but I don't understand at all how we get to $36,126.46 on this invoice.

125% + 20% + 25% = 165%

The sum of all non IMPORT EXPORT DUTIES on that invoice is $1007.84, 165% of $1007.84 is $1662.93, so $1007.84 + $1662.93 = $2670.77, right?

$36,126.46 is over 3,584% of $1007.84, right? How do you get there from 125% + 20% + 25%?

@bajabanjo @adafruit The tariff is on the value of the goods, not the other duties. Presumably they bought $21,250 worth of goods, it just isn't shown on this bill.
