@siracusa i remember well in the early days of WiFi when Cisco etc had mesh wifi products for enterprise. The idea of the mesh is each node connects to all other nodes in range or wired and the system chooses the lowest cost path to relieve congestion. I know at least some of the retail solutions require a percentage of the nodes to be hardwired to maintain performance.
