As part of ScotRail’s ‘Adopt a Station’ programme, Friends of Lairg and Friends of #Newtonmore have committed to enhancing these stations by improving green spaces, planting floral displays, and creating a more welcoming environment for passengers. With ScotRail’s support, the adopters aim to make the stations vibrant, accessible, and pleasant for the local community and travellers. #ScotRail Communications Director David Ross praised the initiative, highlighting how local communities can come together to improve their stations and enhance the travel experience for all.
