JuliaTIL that the material I was calling “chipboard” is actually OSB which stands for the fantastically descriptive phrase “oriented strand board”.
I stayed in an AirBnB in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria that had loads of it and I really liked it.

Grant Gould@catnip I used OSB to build temporary wheelchair ramps for my parents five years ago; they've turned out to be stronger and more durable than the permanent ones installed later and they're still using them. That stuff is _tough_.
