Added a few more slates yesterday, so I could work out what I needed to bring home today to get it finished.. Turns out I forgot to buy a new router bit and grass seed. The Dog has also decided to use the dead patch for his new excavation project 🤦
This morning was spent at boys place changing a car battery and getting rid of some greenwaste.. This afternoon was spent on the last few boards of the screen, while the glass cooled. #beeroclock
With the additional height I can now reach the plums on the neighbour's tree #winning.
Capping is on, plus screen is attached to the facia of the office for bracing.. Next step is the step and a planter box under the screen
My no dig policy has been sacrificed for the greater good, the smaller bits are in place for proof of concept. However I need some more parts. The project continues
Planters full, shrubs are back in. Seed rocks planted 😁. Couple of bits and bobs to take care of when I get my trailer back from boys place. Which will be once I finsh the list of jobs to do at his. He's painting today so I can spend the next week laying flooring.
Garden beds finished just in time for these giant lily bulbs that I picked up from the neighbours over the fence this afternoon #winning
My next projects, build a better base for the smoker, sort out that back corner.. I might level it and plant wildflowers, I'm thinking of putting a bunch of native ferns under the Olive trees. Maybe a path up the centre 🤷
I also need to sort out a better place for the hops.. I think I might go a trellis and a rather large planter, do away with the pots altogether.
