@SilverSauce Aye... this is eye-popping if you don't see fog banks like this 150 days/year. For me it is a normal, although not always a predictable, event. Not to say I don't enjoy it though. As often as I've seen it, it always makes me smile when I get to show it off and see it through the eyes of visitors.

The view from the deck of the bridge when they fog rolls over it is awesome too. This is an old photo from 13-14 years ago...

@[email protected] i get that, although on a smaller scale. I live in a port town in Germany and when family from the south came here they were awestruck. I was like "yeah alright, there's water over there...but you guys have MOUNTAINS!"
They were like "yeah i guess..."
We truly can become desensitized to the beauty that's around us, it seems...
